About
I am a senior Radio/TV/ Film major at Northwestern University. Born and raised a New Jerseyian. (I don't know what this blog is about... mainly relationships and food... of course. I have my NJ, Los Angeles, Chicago pride and my life was taught to me by movies, television, and music.) PEASE SEARCH MY ARCHIVE OR SEARCH YOUR KEY WORDS YOU WANT TO KNOW ABOUT UNDER "FIND"
"You get known by what you do, not what you don't do"
"Remember no man is a failure who has friends"
- "Its A Wonderful Life"
"A dream is a wish your heart makes
When you're fast asleep
In dreams you lose your heartaches
Whatever you wish for, you keep
Have faith in your dreams and someday
Your rainbow will come smiling thru
No matter how your heart is grieving
If you keep on believing
the dream that you wish will come true"

What the fuck is this shit.
Seriously. You all know how tv-romance-heavy my blog posts are, but even I am disgusted to read that.
Epic fail.
gahhh I hate reading…
Saint Vincent Medical Center in Portland Oregon put this video together to help raise breast cancer awareness! Buying pink medical gloves gives money to breast cancer research. The workers at the hospital (even the janitors) stayed up all night, for 2 nights, into 4 o’clock in the morning to make this video.

Smile- Nat King Cole (Charlie Chaplin song)
Love this song! Makes me think about when we were kids on Nantucket… always hearing our parents listening to this song.

Joseph Gordon Levitt interview for 500 Days of Summer
I like Marc Webb as a director and I want to direct things like he does. Funny, unique, and something that is very relatable. I like to show the small things that really connect to the audience. I think people when making movies need to think about the little bizarre things that happen to people and should not be afraid to stray away from the main message of the story… the more people can relate to characters.. the more they will care about them.

Trailer below:
Behind the scenes of my movie Message Received. Johnny Langan (drivers seat) and Josh Stroud filming in the front… I am directing in the back seat and sound like a total moron with my voice gone lol!

WHAT IS WITH THESE SWEATERS!???
I took myself on a shopping spree to the Gap… buy one get one free fyi… and every sweater I tried on I could not pull off the turtle neck! I am not that cool… Why are they so freakin big? I could even wear the neck as a head dress! … gahhh they would be really really cute if the darn neck wasn’t so big… needless to say they were buy one get one free so I got the orangey pink one in the smallest size so at least the neck isn’t totally drowning me!
Why do we over agers get so excited when Party in the USA comes on?? BECAUSE MILEY IS AWESOME! … and yes courtney is wearing a flame on her head…
Surprised Kitty
eeeeee want one!
Dear men, (especially at northwestern)
You guys are incredibly smart and charming (well not “you guys” who have not come out in your whole 4 years)… Anyway you know just how to make a girl always want to think about you, but you never show that you are thinking about us. We assume for the most part that you do think about us, until we come to reality. One night stands with people you don’t know allow someone to totally blow off the person the next day, and never talk to them again (not an ideal situation but fine). When you talk to a girl, may it be in class, out in a non-wasted situation, or with many mutual friends… it is not ok to hook up with someone and then go MIA. At least MAN up and call or talk to her in person (gasp!) and do not leave her hanging… you, my friend, are what we girls like to call douche bags- if you 1. never talk to her again or 2. send her a non-decipherable, short, shitty text message that just confuses us more.
You know we over analyze situations, but that is not an excuse for a man to write us off. Get the picture… girls who are not sluts… when they hook up with you…means they actually like you to a certain extent! Keep this in mind the next time you want to write some one off .. Also! -If you hook up with one of your girl “friends,” no matter what they say or come off as thinking, they do not think about what just happened as being “random”… friends are not random hook ups and there will always be tension after something like that happens.
thanks!
